Geraldine Page Butler, lost her battle with cancer on November 12, 2019, at Angel House Hospice Care Center, in Whiteville, NC. Geraldine was born on February 10, 1953, to the late David Scott and the late Ernestine Page, in Lumberton NC.
Geraldine attended Rosenwald High School, Fairmont NC. After High School she worked at Converse for several years. She was also employed at Greenbrier, in Fairmont, NC, where she worked until her health fell. At an early age she accepted Christ and was Baptized at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Chruch, where she continued to be a loyal and faithful member until her death. She was known best for her cabbage and chicken and dumpling, as we would say, “she put her foot in that.”
