Mr. Wilton Davis, Jr. was born to the late Wilton Davis and
Mamie Lee Davis-Andrews on April 5, 1948 in Robeson
County, NC. He departed May 4, 2018 at Southeastern
Hospice House.
Mr. Wilton Davis, Jr. attended Robeson County schools.
After which, he worked faithfully at Whitehead Anderson until
his health began to decline.
Mr. Wilton Davis, Jr. was a humble, kind, and loving man
who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his family, people,
music, pfaying checkers, and dominoes.
He had a special love for the Lord and at an early age, he
joined McCormicks Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Mr. Wilton Davis, Jr. was preceded in death by his wife,
Mrs. Deloris Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Janet
Davis and Gwendolyn Locklear (Gary), all of Lumberton, NC;
two sons, James Davis and Joey Davis, both of Lumberton;
four brothers. Roy Davis of Charlotte, NC, David Davis
(Brenda) of Houston, TX, Frankie Davis of Durham. NC. and
Michael Davis (Sandra) of Lumberton; his sisters, Evangelist
Clara Bostic (Preston), Hilda Jean Palmer, Vista Mae McNeill,
Cynthia A. Davis, and Vickie T. Cade, all of Lumberton and
Frances Quick (Gerry) of Rowland, NC; one aunt, Mrs. Eula
Mae Lewis of Lumberton; three sisters-in-law, JoAnn Hickman,
Mary Frances Bostick, and Linda Blackmon (Lawrence) of
Lumberjon; seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren,
special friends, CNA Marquita Brooks and Taylor Locklear of
Lumberton, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends
