Mr. Michael Carter, 65, of Maxton, transitioned into eternal rest on June 22, 2018.

Mr. Michael Carter was born on December 2, 1952 in Washington, DC to the late Estelle Malloy and late Herman Carter. On Friday June 22, 2018 he transitioned from time to rest eternally.

Michael attended elementary in Hempstead Long Island, NY. He attended high school in Philadelphia. He was employed by the federal government for 21 years. He also ran his own glass and mirror business for 21 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Rhoda Carter, one son, Michael Carter Jr., one sister, Josephine Graves, three brothers, James (Alma) Malloy, Milton (Regina) Malloy, Jerry (Annie) Malloy, one aunt Anna Lewis, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a special love to three, nephews, Robert, Michael, and Phillip Bullard and a special love to one niece, Minnie (Kenty) Graham and other relatives and friends.
