Mr. Jerry Mitchell Clark

Jerry Mitchell Clark of Fairmont, NC was born 7 August 1949  to the                                                                                                                                                                                            late Ethel Lee Worley and James Robert Clark Jr. in Lumberton, NC.                                                                                                                                                                                             He departed this life on Thursday, 27 September 2018.

Jerry graduated from Rosenwald High School in 1967 and
attended Robeson Community College. He honorably served
four years in the U.S. Airforce where he completed tours in
Vietnam, the Indochina region and Korea. Completing his
obligation in the Air Force, he achieved the rank of Sergeant
(Senior Airman). Following his military service, Jerry worked
 

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife,'Linda G. Clark, father,
mother, and brother, Selvester Clark.

Jerry lived his life on his own terms. He loved cooking, playing
cards, competing when playing Connect Four against his
grandchildren and traveling. Most importantly, Jerry loved his
family.

Jerry leaves to cherish his loving memories: three daughters :
Shonta Shaw (Gregory), Yonica Clark-Thompson (Reginald)
and Latoyia Clark all of Raleigh, NC; - three brothers : Billy
Ray Clark (Lou Wana), Arlivid Worley, Glen Dale Worley all of
Fairmont, NC; two sisters: Myra Campbell of Fairmont, Wendy
Worley of Winston-Salem, NC; 15 Grandchildren: Ntshoko-,
Hikin (Monique),: Mahogany, Tariq, Ri-yan, Alijah, Gregory,
Jakym, Ashanti, Zya, Amare, Malachi, Takiyah, Sovereign,
Gai’Lee; two great-grandchildren, a host of nephews and nieces
as well as family and friends.
