Mr. James Melvin ("Junebug") Gaddy Jr.

Mr. James Melvin Gaddy Jr. "Junebug", 45, of Fairmont, passed away March 4, 2019 at New Hanover Medical Center.

James Melvin Gaddy, Jr (Junebug) was born on July 10, 1973 at
Southeastern General Hospital in Lumberton, NC. He was raised in the
North Fairmont and Eastside Park communities by his mother, Vilene
McLean. James was preceded in death by his father, James Melvin Gaddy.
He was introduced to Christ at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist
Church. James was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend. He always
had a smile on his face and enjoyed making people laugh.

James attended Fairmont High School and enjoyed going to the race track,
riding motorcycles and racing cars. He always enjoyed having fun with his
loved ones and friends and had a special interest in working on old school
cars. James was a ladies man and Duke was his college basketball team.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Vilene Williams McLean
(Rufus); two beautiful daughters, Arney a Oliver-Lumberton, Melaine
Gaddy-Fairmont; two stepdaughters, Oliva Harley and Jada Stubbs-
Fayetteville; six sons, Saiquan Gaddy (Nicole), Jamoze Hill, Jaquez Reaves,
Jamez Gaddy, all of Fairmont, Olrando Gaddy-Lumberton, Jayden
Schofield-Greenville, SC; one sister, Jacqueline Gaddy Johnson-Fairmont;
one brother, Wardell Williams (Joanne)-Fairmont; one stepbrother,
Jermaine Williams-Fairmont; one brother-in-law, Calvin Lamont Johnson-
Fairmont; four aunts, Carolyn Hinson-Washington (Bustcr)-Fairmont,
Latoya Williams-Raleigh, NC, Brenda Bussie Owens (Espice)-Dctroit, MI,
Alberta March-Dillon, SC; two uncles, James (JC) Thompson-Atlanta, GA,
Ed ware} Bussie-Detroit, MI; one grandson, Jamar Gaddy-Fairmont; four
nieces, Taytiana Gaddy, Faith Johnson both of Fairmont, Kaliyah Johnson,
Shaniya Johnson both of St Pauls, one nephew, Calvin Lamont Johnson II- cousins and other relatives and friends.
