Mr. Carlos Roberto Alvarez

     Mr. Carlos Alvarez (Charlie) was born on April 9, 1954 to the late Jose Alvarez and the late Constania Felix in San Juan, Porta Rico. He departed this earthly life on Friday December 6, 2019 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton, NC.

     Carlos attended the Public Schools of New York in Brooklyn. He worked in the food service many years and manufacturing industry. He also worked in the food produce farms service in upstate New York before retiring.

     Carlos was a fun loving, happy person who loved to tease people.  He never met a stranger. He loved to talk to everybody. He was a good provider for the family. He loved helping people who needed him. He loved being outdoors. He loved to ride his bike and he loved to eat.

     Carlos was preceded in death by five brothers, Victor Manuel Sachez (Camel), Jose Antonia Alvarez, Alberto Alvarez, Perfecto Alvarez, and Juwan Jose Alvarez, two sister-in-laws, Corinna Smith and Frances McCall Miles.

     He leaves to cherish his memories to the love of his life for forty-four and a half years, Mary McCall of the home, one sister, Romona Alvarez of Las Vegas, Nevada; two     sister-in-law's, Juanita Fulmore of San Diego, California;  and Sallie Cintron of New York, special nieces, Corina McDaniel of Lumberton, NC; Maggie Brown (James) and Ella Smith; all of Buffalo, NY; special nephews, Sykeem Smith and Ahkilee Denning, a host of nieces, nephews, two god daughters, Hata Sata and Crystal Flores of Buffalo, NY and other relatives and friends.
