Minister Christine Moody

     Ms. Christine Moody, daughter of the late Harmon Moody Sr. and Cornelia Stackhouse Moody was born on September 7, 1949 in Robeson County, N.C. She departed this life on August 12, 2019 at home in Fairmont, N.C.

     Ms. Moody wore numerous hats during her time here on earth. She enjoyed life and supported her family and the church. She cherished her twin sons and her grandchildren. Her other passion was serving the Lord. Ms. Moody was ordained as a minister in June 2005. She loved helping and supporting any church function. She especially loved visiting the elderly and the sick. No matter who own health or condition, she would always find a way to support, encourage and take action if necessary. Minister Moody was a loving, caring woman, a friend, mother, and grandmother. We will surely miss our mother and the love she shared.

     She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her two sons, Herman A. Moody (Sharon) of Greensboro, NC; and Lee H. Moody (Lisa) at Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Brittany A. Moody of Jacksonville, FL; Elijah D. Moody and Ashley M. Moody of Columbia, SC; two brothers Jack Moody (Frances) of Fairmont, NC; and Bobby J. Moody of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Rosa L. Moody and Barbara A. Hyman (Darrean} of Fairmont, NC; Sallie M. Moody and Annie Miles both of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, classmates and friends.
