Mrs. Margaret Ratley Jones, the daughter of the late Lelia Ratley and John Ander Ratley, was born on January 18, 1949. She departed this earthly life on Saturday June 1, 2019.
Margaret joined First Baptist Church and was a member of the Carolina Mass Choir and the J.J, Johnson Choir. She was a faithful member until she became ill.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald L. Hill and granddaughter, Lil Markisha Moore.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her loving memories to her daughter; Markisha Moore (Larry) of Lumberton, NC; a granddaughter, Sgt. Keyasha Patterson (Sgt. Braxton) of Fort Stewart, GA; three grandsons, Devon Hill of Fort Stewart, GA; Jeremiah Moore and Larry Moore Jr. both of Lumberton, NC; two great-grands, Madison and Leilah Patterson of Fort Stewart, GA; three sisters, Geneva Lennon (Kenneth) of Fairmont, NC; Emily Ratley of Fayetteville, NC; and Yvonne Ratley of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Jerome Ratley of Dillion, SC; four aunts, Neveta White and Dorothy Pittman both of Norfolk, VA; Viola Pittman of Fairbluff, NC; and Dorothy Staton of Washington, DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, staff of Woodhaven Nursing facility and other friends.
