George Edward Page

Mr. George Edward Page, 69, of Fairmont transitioned from time to eternal rest on Feb. 21, 2019 at Southeastern Health.

George was born on June 10, 1949 in Robeson County.

George attended Rosenwald High School and was raised up helping his family on the farm. George was loved by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ila McKellar, George Freeman and (mother) Earnestine Page, two aunts; Artense Floyd and Mildreen Stewart.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories two daughters: Amelia Page of Charlotte, NC and Kimberly (Warren) Sheridan of Lumberton, NC; two sons; George Worley of Fairmont, NC and Patrick Worley of Lumberton, NC; five grandsons: Demetri (Nita) Sheridan of Tacoma, WA, Joshua Sheridan of Pembroke, NC, Patron Worley, Matrice Worley and Elijah Worley all of Lumberton, NC; two granddaughters: Shiasia Worley and Georgiana Worley both of Fairmont, NC; six sisters: Kathrida Page, Iris Page, Sally Page, Geraldine Page, Peggy McNair and Amelia Mitchell all of Fairmont, NC;  two brothers: Earnest Page and Sam McNair both of Fairmont, NC; six nieces and seven nephews, two special friends: “Cookie” and Linda Moody; a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
