     Freddie James Glover was born November 6,1951, in Sylvester Georgia to Coleman Glover and Addie Lee Bullard and later moved to Delray Beach, Florida where he attended Carver high school then later relocated to Rochester, New York where he met and married the love of his life Susan Parson mother of his three sons and a wonderful stepmother to his only daughter.

    Freddie also known to anyone that knew him well as “straw dog”, was a hardworking man who loved life, while living in Rochester he worked and retired from two of the biggest companies. Rochester Gas & Electric for 18 years retiring in 1996 to go on to work for Eastman Kodak for 8 years retiring in 2009. His hobbies were bowling, fishing, playing cards and he also loved to walk, you could come to his house and find his car in the driveway and see him walking up the street because he would walk to work and just walk his neighborhood anyone that met him grew to love him because of his sense of humor and some of the phrases he would come up with like, “ay, ay gur" only people close enough to him would know exactly what that meant and laugh one of his favorite gospel songs was, I found a choir to sing in by the Canton spirituals and his favorite scripture was the 23rd Psalms.

     Freddie is preceded by: one grandson Lamar S. Glover Jr.; one great grandson Naziar D. Dalton; one sister Natherine Glover; grandmother Annie Mae Vauss.

     Freddie gained his heavenly wings departing this earth on Friday May 17, 2019 leaving to cherish his memories: one daughter Sylvia L. Balkum; three sons: Freddie J. (Michelle) Glover, Shawn D. (Catrina) Glover,     Lamar S. Glover all of Rochester, NY; four grandchildren: Latoya L. Hazle (Orlando, Fl), Sheldon T. Dalton, Xavier Glover, Shane Glover all of Rochester, NY; four great grandchildren: Xavier Jr. (Rochester, NY),   Saniya Williams, Joshua Powell, Ava Brown all of Orlando, Fl; mother Addie Lee Bullard (Pompano) Beach, FI three sisters: Anna Mae (James) Roseboro (Delray Beach, FL), Mary H. (Marcus) Johnson (Lauderdale Lakes, Fl), Vinnie Williams (Delray Beach, Fl); six brothers: Thurnal A. (Louise) Glover (Atlanta, GA), David L. (Cynthia) Herring (Lake Worth, Fl), Leonard (Felicia) Glover (Boynton Beach, Fl), Tommy L. Glover (Virginia), Curtis R Glove (Pompano Beach, Fl), four aunts: very special aunt Joann Vauss, Martha Vauss, Mary L. Scott all of Rochester, NY,     Bessie R. Williams (Delray Beach, Fl), two uncles: Willie (Alice) Searcy (Starke, Fl), John (Martha) Vauss (Palmetto, Fl), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Randy White, Robert Hoover and Marvin (Rochester, N'Y).
