Elder Lonnie T. Graham

On Monday, August 21, 2017, God transitioned                                                                                                                                                      

Lonnie from his earthly house unto everlasting life.

Lonnie was born September 5, 1944 to the late David                                                                                                                                                     

and Earlie Mae Graham in Orrum, North Carolina.

He was a 1963 graduate of Proctorville High School.

At an early age Lonnie confessed and accepted

Christ as his Savior and joined Mt Zion Free Will

Baptist Church, where he remained a faithful servant

of God until his death.

Lonnie was a disciple in Christian studies and

attended various Bible seminaries. Lonnie became

an ordained minister in Eldership with the Columbus

FWB Conference under the leadership of Bishop M L

Gore. It was soon after that Lonnie became the

Pastor for Union Chapel FWB Church Whiteville NC.

He also served as Pastor for True Faith Fellowship

Church, Whiteville, NC.

Lonnie loved to sing and in his youthful years he sung

faithfully with quartet groups, his favorite song was “I

will Trust in the Lord”. Hunting, fishing, and working

on lawnmowers or whatever needed fixing while

sitting under his shed at home was another favorite

pastime for Lonnie.

Lonnie leaves to cherish with loving memories his

wife of 20 years Edith Faye Graham of the home, son

Billy Ray McDowell, Charlotte NC; daughters Tara

Stokes, New York; Keshia (Keith) Stephens, Las

Vegas, NV, Monica Stephens, Charlotte, NC, Eleshia

Floyd, Fayetteville, NC; Sisters: Bobby Ann (Tilmer)

Plummer, Greensboro, NC; Mary Graham and Debbie

Alford, Fairmont, NC; Avis Graham, Greensboro, NC;

Glenda (Willie) Bellamy, Whiteville, NC, Sandra

Hodges, Apex NC, Angela Graham, Garner, NC;

Brother: Arzander (Alice), Munich, Germany.

Four siblings that preceded him in death James

Crosby Graham, Brant Graham, David Lee Graham,

and Carol Jean Graham.
