PFC De'Quan Jamar Robinson

     Mr. De’Quan Jamar Robinson, 21 of Lumberton passed away Jan. 20, 2016. Celebration Of Life Services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at 2 PM at the Greater Highway Church of Christ in Fairmont, NC. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday Jan. 26, 2016 at Worley Mortuary & Cremation Service of Fairmont and other times at the home at 3506 A Hillcrest Drive Lumberton, NC.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Lisha Mae Lewis and Clifton Jake Ford and his paternal grandparents Horace and Evelyn Robinson.

De’Quan graduated from Fairmont High School in 2012. Upon graduation he enlisted into the United States Army where he was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. De’Quan was a member of The Greater Highway Church of Christ in Fairmont, North Carolina. De’Quan was a very lovable and charismatic person. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons; Maddix Carter Robinson (Niaesa McNeil) of Charleston, SC and Avery Isaiah Robinson (Queisha Coleman-Brown) of St. Pauls, NC; his mother: Lisa Lewis (Derrick) Arnette of Lumberton, NC; his father: Arthur (Carroll) Robinson of Orlando, Florida; six brothers: DeMarreon and Derrick Jaleel Arnette, Drafton Govan, Tyus Robinson, Brenden Alford and Miles Robinson; one sister: Miya Robinson; grandparents: Eddie & Shelia Troy, Bennie & Patricia Arnette; four aunts: Carolyn (Gordon) Cummings, Cynthia (Rodney) Searcy, Rhonda (Paul) English and Belinda (William) Baker; six uncles: Lee Lewis, James (Brenda) Lewis, John Lewis, Dennis (Erica) Lewis, Jimmy (Lynn) Lewis and Cedric (Stephanie) Williams; four great aunts: Alice (Joiners) Cadestin of Lumberton, NC and Eloise (Holland) Toomer of Westbury, NY, Beatrice Lewis of Mullins, SC and Carnell Lewis of Westbury, NY; one  great uncle: Robert (Gail) Blue of Orrum, NC; one great, great aunt Dorothy Taylor of Fairmont, NC; five special sisters: Briyonka Bethea, Brikeya Brunson, Tiera Spears, Courtney Bellamy and Asia McAllister; three special brothers: Lamar Pegues, Luke Hunt and Thomas Jones; godparents: Dwayne and Bridgette Bethea; godfather: Reggie Walters; godmother: Audrey Regan; godbaby: Mariah Washington; special friend: Ja’Novia Crump; special friends: Kendrick Nealy, Sharod Moore, Jerry McCoy, Amari Davis; best friends: Shalonda Hunt and Niyah Melvin; a host of very special cousins, adoptive family: Tawanda Hunt, Maya McKoy, cousins, Battle Buddies, other relatives  and special friends.
