Mr. Charles Reed Jr.

     Mr. Charles Reed Jr. 65 of Rowland passed away Friday May 12, 2017 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton.

    Mr. Charles Reed Jr. was born on June 3, 1951 in Clarkton, NC to the late Charlie Reed and  Louvenia Wilson.

    He dedicated his life to Jehovah on June 29, 1991. He loved serving Jehovah and was always prepared for his meetings.

     Charles met and married Annie Frank  Macklin, and to this union two children was born. He was raised in Barnesville, NC. He loved to cook, shop, and sports. He was very family oriented, and loved his family deeply. Charles loved to help others in anyway he could. He was loved by all.

     He was preceded in death by the his parents, Charlie and Lovenia Wilson, three sisters, Annie Crawford, and two sisters who died at birth.

     He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Annie Reed, three sons, Charles Andre Reed and Travis Ladell Reed both of Rowland, NC; Martin Hinton of Laurinburg, NC; two daughters, Iyana Zyasia Reed of Lumberton, NC; and Tracey Dale of Pensacola FL; six sisters, Blanche Reliford (Harris) of Plainfield, NJ; Betty Rae of Marietta, NC; Patricia Love of Lumbeton, NC; Brenda Rogers (LeeNorris) of Severn, MD; Linda Reed of Fairmont, NC; and Carolyn Reed of Plainfield NJ; one brother, Harold Thomas Reed of Proctorville, NC; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
